We went to the Magic Kingdom this morning for a few hours. Glenn did fine; even though he still has some congestion, he's got his energy back. We went on the Snow White ride, which wasn't a good idea because it scared both boys. Alexander clung to Bob the whole way and cried a little near the end. I felt so bad. Glenn just kept saying things were scary and held my hand tightly. But Glenn loved riding the fast rides. And it was easy getting on the rides. There were a lot of people there with kids our sons' ages, but not really any with school age kids. So the lines for the rides where he just passes the height requirement were short. After a long nap this afternoon, we went to dinner and then had ice cream at Ghiradelli at Disney Marketplace. We also snapped this picture of Alexander trying on Mickey ears (you can see Glenn playing in the background with the snow globe we bought him):

I am finally posting a picture from Glenn's first soccer game a week and a half ago. This was him running after the other players. He wasn't necessarily going for the ball, but he had fun.


We missed last week's game because he came down with a fever that morning. Now we're in Orlando for a week. He didn't have a fever today, but it did elevate by the end of the day. He says he feels better, but his eyes don't look better.

Alexander is being cute. He says "nigh-nigh" for night-night. He says it so sweetly.

We're hoping to be able to get out a little bit tomorrow, just to the outlets down the street and see how Glenn does.

It's been a while since I posted last. Glenn has been loving school and for the past two weeks has been taking a school bus home. It's the highlight of his day. I still walk him to school. He just started soccer practice yesterday. Here are some pictures:

We have his first game tomorrow. It will be very interesting since only the coaches son knows what he's doing. The rest haven't a clue. It's hilarious to watch. Glenn's exciting. He kept asking if he was going to soccer soon tonight. He'd like to do it every night.

I've been very busy with my business. I sold 4 bags in the past two weeks! Yay! I have a lot of interest in people buying things for Christmas. So, I could be really busy this fall. It's exciting. I am off for a Mom's night out for dinner and a little bunko (a dice game for those of you who don't know what bunko is... I had never heard of it before moving here).

Relaunching of my website

Bob has completely redone my Laurie's Custom Creation's website. It looks much more professional, and flows well. I have also added a new beach bag/work tote (I have another fabric I'm going to make it in soon), and we launched my new baby boutique line. There are a lot of fun things on there and I'll be adding even more items as I make them. I'm trying to make a variety of items before people start shopping for Christmas. Glenn's First Day of School

Today was Glenn's first day of school for the new school year. He was very excited this morning. He was not nervous at all and did very well when we left him in his classroom. He was happy to see me when I picked him up. His only complaint was that they had nap time and it wasn't dark, not night time. I asked him if he told them that it wasn't dark, and he said he did. Of course he did! He told me he threw away his peach this morning (grr...). He said he colored and they only played in the room, not outside (might have been too hot out when they have recess). He's excited to go back again tomorrow. I was afraid he'd be exhausted since he's there from 8:30 to 2:20, but he wasn't. However, he had a breakdown when we said it was time for bed tonight. I'm sure he'll fall asleep quickly.
