I saw my high risk OB this morning and he said I'll be induced within the next week because I keep having a problem with the amniotic fluid going low, and the baby is measuring about 8 lb 12 oz. So, I'll bring all that information to my regular OB tomorrow and we'll decide when I'm going to get induced. I thought I was going into labor last night, but then everything stopped. He's just too cozy, but he's running out of room. I'll have another ultrasound on Thursday to see if the fluid is still low, and if it is, the high risk OB said he's going to tell my OB to induce me that day. So, Bob is coming to my OB appt tomorrow and we're just going to try to have me induced on Thursday.

Still no baby. I had an ultrasound yesterday, and the fluid around the baby is a little low, so I'm not to go walking anymore. They think I over did it this past week. I did a lot of walking and shopping, and even though I'm drinking a lot of water, I may not have been drinking enough to compensate for all the exercise. So, I'm confined to the house again (except for taking Glenn to school and going to doctor's appts). They will do another ultrasound on Thursday to check the fluid level. I saw my OB this morning, and he wasn't worried about the lower fluid level as long as I rest. That made me feel better about it. But the frustrating part of the day was when he checked to see if I'm dilated, he said the baby is no longer low. I thought that once the baby dropped, you deliver that that's it. But apparently he decided he's not ready yet to be born. So, Bob was a little grumpy after leaving the OB's office. Of course he's not the one carrying the baby. :)

Still Baking
I didn't want anyone to think that we were in the hospital since I haven't posted. We're still waiting. I went for a walk this morning and we're going to the pool in a few minutes, so that I get a little more active. My mom is flying down tomorrow night, so she just might make it before the baby is born.

I have had a couple requests for a picture so people can see how big I'm getting. My belly kind of looks like it has an odd shape because of the shirt I'm wearing and because the baby is so low.

Here are some pictures of my silly boy. This first one was just before bed one night. He was playing in his play room and had just the one boot on and the hammer tucked into the waistband of his shorts.

Bob had brought home a book of Dora the Explorer stickers and Glenn decided to decorate his legs with them.

Glenn likes to listen to Daddy's IPod with the big headphones. He was cuddling with Daisy while listening just before bed one night.

Yay, I made it to 37 weeks. I'm now considered full term, so I can have the baby any time. I had another ultrasound and monitoring this morning, and the baby was doing everything he's supposed to do: he's head down, moving, practicing breathing...
Glenn started summer school today. He goes Monday through Thursday, and it's a slightly shorter day than what they had during the school year. Apparently 2 weeks with Mom was long enough that he didn't want to go back to school. He was happy until he saw the teaching assistant and then the tears began to fall. Poor kid. It's time to go pick him up so, I better go.
