Alexander has also been very grumpy that past couple weeks. We thought maybe it was his teeth, but then I realized that every time I left the room, as soon as he realizes I'm not there, he cries. Also, my dad is hear visiting, and when he's been with my dad for too long, even if I'm in the room, he starts to cry. So, I've figured out he has developed separation anxiety. It should be interesting at the eye doctor's tomorrow, and then my dad is watching him on Thursday when I go to another doctor (at least he'll be sleeping most the time I'm gone). I'm going a little crazy because either I don't get anything done while he's awake, or I have to let him cry. But if I try to play with him, he doesn't want that either. He wants to play by himself, but w/ me in the room.
We got Glenn a little pool to play in the back yard. We were inflating it yesterday, and Glenn was so excited. He said, "Thank you Mommy! I love you!" And he gave me the biggest hug. It's a really small pool, but enough for Glenn to slide into. I can even sit in there to stay cool, although I haven't... yet.
